Sure, some companies raise tens or hundreds of millions of dollars. The reality is, though, that businesses can start and grow for far less. Don’t give away control to others if you don’t need to.
The small business life has many ups and downs, especially for founders. Talk to people who have been in your current and future position to learn to make it a smoother journey.
When you’re running a business, you’re going to hit roadblocks and you’re going to feel alone and you’re going to feel like the problem is you. This is a way to get help & understanding.
One thing I would do differently if I could go back and start again would be get more involved with other business owners from the beginning

I feel like there’s a lot of very misguided advice because you have to first decide what success means to you.
